It started when processes like accountsd, securityd, etc were taking up more-then-normal CPU%. All after it had been working flawlessly since release day. I just went through 48 hours of all kinds of bullshit with High Sierra. I probably need to clone the laptop's boot disk and do a clean install. ![]() Now Time Machine complains that it can't create a local snapshot whenever I try to run a backup. I'd been installing the developer betas on it, and I think along the way something got misconfigured. Since it's a Hackintosh I can't really blame Apple too much.Īnd on my Macbook Pro, Time Machine isn't working at all. (No problem recognizing the SSD boot disk). So to restart I have to power off completely and then power on. If I restart using the reset button, the Hackintosh doesn't recognize my internal HFS+ HDD, which I use for Time Machine. ![]() Removing iStat Menus did decrease the frequency of freezes, so that was nice. No logfiles are created and nothing crashes so I have no idea what it is. ![]() It isn't just the UI, I tried logging into it over the network using ssh, and that froze too. My Hackintosh is freezing up about once every 8 hours or so, requiring a shutdown and restart. Anyone else having problems? With High Sierra.
